As students of the prestigious University of Southern California, academics should be our first priority. However, as Alpha Chi sisters we find ourselves involved in clubs, sports, internships, and of course Alpha Chi Omega! I am always amazed at the variety of organizations my sisters take part in.
Balancing extracurricular activities can be tricky, but Alpha Chi Omega always places priority on academics while supporting sisters in their pursuits both inside and outside the classroom. We feel that Alpha Chi Omega should enhance the college experience by providing leadership and networking opportunities, social activities, and sisterhood. To help our sisters enjoy all that Alpha Chi Omega has to offer and succeed academically, we provide scholarship programming to ensure that all of our sisters are reaching their potential.
I welcome you to look through the scholarship activities we offer and see how Alpha Chi helps us thrive academically and prepare for balancing the many priorities of our adult lives.

Scholarship Banquets
Each semester, Alpha Chis are given the opportunity to invite their professors over to the house for a formal dinner. At these banquets, we get to showcase all of our sisters' involvement and academic success while meeting other professors at the university. Monetary scholarships and fun awards are granted for high GPAs and grade improvement.
Alumnae Events
Alumnae are often invited back to offer career advice and planning. They provide a great connection to the working world. There is even an internet-based database of Alpha Chis located around the world who are excited to share insight and mentor undergraduate students. If you are an alumna and are interested in visiting our house for a career night, please email our VP Intellectual Development .
Smarty Pants
At the beginning of every semester, every sister writes down an academic goal she has on a tiny pair of pants. These goals are posted on a board in our study to provide inspiration throughout the semester, and at the end of the semester the sisters who reach their goals get a small prize.
Study Hours
Study hours are held three times a week, every week. They are held in our spacious study room, which is designated as a quiet area. Our sisters are very respectable to those studying and are careful to be quiet, especially during midterms and finals. Members of our chapter also often host study groups for their classes at our house since it is a great location to do group work. Studying is always more fun when it's in the company of sisters!
Study Files
At the end of every semester, girls create files of old notes and materials from their previous classes. These are all organized and filed in our study file cabinets. They come in handy as studying tools for other members of the sorority.
