Having been at USC continuously since 1895, Alpha Chi Omega is a well-established sorority looking for classy, high-achieving women. We hold all of our lifetime and potential new members to five standards: academic achievement, character, leadership ability, financial responsibility and personal development. Being part of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Southern California has allowed me the opportunity to make friends that will last a lifetime.
Recruitment is one of the most important and fulfilling aspects of sorority membership. Recruiting new women to be a part of our amazing sisterhood allows us to grow as women and sisters, create new friendships, and be part of numerous philanthropic events and activities. Both prospective members as well as Alpha Chi Omega alumnae are crucial to the recruitment process.
I am so excited to meet all of the USC students who will be going through formal recruitment this fall. There are so many meaningful and exciting aspects you can only discover through formal recruitment. The rest of Alpha Chi Omega and I cannot wait to share with you the bond of our sisterhood in the fall!
To the alumnae:
I don't know what we would do without your help and support throughout the recruitment process. Your letters of recommendation regarding prospective members, hours of work during recruitment, and constant support, help make recruitment so much easier for us. Keep up the good work, and if you would like information regarding sponsorship or volunteering, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I can't wait to meet you all in August!

Day 1 & 2, August 25th & 26th: On Unity Days, potential new members will visit all 9 of the Panhellenic sororities. We look forward to meeting each individual potential new member for the first time and getting to know her. Conversation day is the first chance for potential new members to meet some of the sisters of each chapter.
Day 3, August 27th: On Spirit Day, we are always thrilled to invite potential new members into our home and offer them a tour of our gorgeous house located on 28th street! During house tours potential new members will be able to connect more with each chapter by being able to see their home.
Day 4, August 28th: On Pride Day, potential new members will be able to view a slideshow of pictures and video clips of up to 4 chapters. Potential new members will be able to get to know each house further through the slideshows, conversations, songs, and dances put on by each sorority.
Day 5, August 29th: Preference is the most formal day of recruitment, in which each chapter welcomes potential new members for brunch and a ceremony. After this final event potential new members will fill out their final bid cards. Each potential member will attend two parties this day.
Bid Night! On Bid Night, potential new members will find out which sorority they have been invited to join, learn their recruitment counselor's affiliation, and then be taken to their Big Night celebration! Each chapter looks forward to this fun and final night of recruitment! Chapters eagerly await the arrival of their new sisters and the chance to welcome them into their chapters for the first time with entertaining events at each chapter house!
